the gmen
Galvanize Fit is a Brotherhood and a tribe of individuals. The men of Galvanize (or GMen) are men of Faith, who understand that we are built for leadership and made in the image of God. We have been designed to play an active role in our life and to meet challenge and adversity head on. As we face these challenges together, each man grows. This process is Simple, but not easy.
When you make it to a Galvanize workout, you will notice some common jargon. Part of being a GMan means getting a Galvanize nickname. At the end of your second workout, the workout leader (or Q) will begin the circle of trust (COT- the closing of the workout where each man has an opportunity to share any praises, challenges or prayers needed). During the COT, the group will offer nickname suggestions for each new member (FNG- friendly new guy) and the Q along with the GMan who brought the FNG will confer and assign the GMan nickname.

What advice would you have for any man joining Galvanize? the road to fitness is simple but it's not easy. you need to be willing to be honest with yourself- honest about where you are, and honest about what you're willing to do to get where you want to be. You will have a band of brothers who will help you carry through, but the commitment must come from you. I've never heard anyone regret showing up and working out; i've heard a million excuses from others on why they can't or won't make it. be exception and commit to galvanize!
