About
Background:
Galvanize was founded from the principles of F3: fitness, fellowship, faith. (F3Nation.com)
Founded May 23, 2015, Galvanize is a free men’s workout group created by ordinary men to invigorate male leadership in all aspects of life, work, home, church and community. Fitness is the medium we use to develop leadership. As men gather in the predawn hours at community parks, we leverage an innate drive to be active in camaraderie with other like minded men.
Fellowship develops as a natural process: being outside, sweating, struggling, growing and pushing limits physically, mentally and emotionally. Through repeated weekly workouts (Saturdays at 5:45 AM), bonds of trust are formed, brotherhood develops and a sense of belonging as a tribe of men germinates where men strive to be better, refuse to be common and kick the habit of laziness.
Faith is emphasized as the foundation for our group where we understand and acknowledge that we are made in the image of God and designated with the task of leadership. We are men who stand up to challenges and face adversity head on. We will not back down, we will not stay defeated, but will push forward with the urging of other men going through similar journeys in life, albeit in varying different stages.
As we become Fit4Life, our focus is to develop our Spiritual discipline while fortifying it with physical fitness, mental endurance and emotional health to equip us to handle the seasons and storms of life that will come our way.
